Safety Alert
Safety Tips for Using Our CitePro During the Pandemic

Based on the recommendations from our manufacturer, consider the following when sanitizing your CitePro handheld to reduce the spread of Coronavirus:

  • If possible, assign a specific, single device to each user so that only one user is making physical contact with the device on a daily basis.
  • Sanitize devices and charging docks before a shift begins and after a shift ends. The best way to do this is to lightly wipe down the device surfaces and supplemental battery surfaces with isopropyl alcohol (must be 70% or higher) wipes or by applying isopropyl alcohol to a clean cloth.
  • Either discontinue the use of the hand strap or clean the hand strap with Lysol or other similar disinfectants Note that if you choose to continue to use the hand strap, it is best practice to remove the hand strap from the device after a shift, spray/wipe the hand strap with Lysol/disinfectant and let dry over night or for several hours before reapplying the hand strap to the device.
  • DO NOT use Lysol and other similar disinfectants to clean any internal components of your device (ie – inside of the printer housing, charging contacts, etc). It is best practice to ONLY use isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher) when cleaning the device itself.

Stay safe out there!
